If you are looking for a 5 star fishing camp and want to get wined and dined and waited on and told when to eat and when to fish, then this probably isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for the experience of enjoying the rustic north the way we figure it should be, in the comfort of a log cabin where you can eat when and what you want and where you can come and go fishing at your own leisure, then this is the place for you. This is how we figure we can keep the cost down on a trip like this so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the excitement of a fly in fishing trip at a very reasonable price.

Your mind is still struggling to grasp the fact that this crystal clear, serene lake under your boat is a 210 million year old meteor crater!....Then wham! A giant northern pike hits your line like a freight train!...This catches you off guard as you are still daydreaming about the ancient petroglyphs you read on the towering cliffs this morning, not to mention the brawny black and cinnamon bears you witnessed on the far shore this afternoon!

Back at camp,supper smells delicious as you stare in absolute awe at the wondrous colors of the dancing northern lights! The howling of the timber wolves overpower the sound of the crispy golden fish frying on the open fire.

You wonder "Can it get any better than this?" What will tomorrow bring?
Some deep rigging for lakers where the lake's over 100 ft deep? Or maybe some jigging in one of the many walleye holes? Might even catch a glimpse of a mighty bull moose having a refreshing drink at the creek! The raw excitement of knowing there are 3 more days of this remote northern adventure gives you goosebumps!
